WIP of another winged monkey.

Started this guy and I'm posting it to make me do my studio work so that I can finish it.  If that makes sense.

Work before play is fine, but twenty minutes of play can make starting the work easier.  And then you get to play more.

Minnutemen General, psychobuff addict and wielding a serrated Chinese officer's sword, my Sole Survivor tends to run into every situation huffing chems and swinging for the fences.

Also she eats the dead.

The more I draw, the more I find that specific reference is the best thing ever.  Wanna draw a flying monkey?  Make it a Lion Tamarin WW2-era pilot outfit and Thompson submachine gun.

First time I ever really did some hand-drawn font stuff... not 100% happy with the kerning and whatnot but all I have to do is another dozen or so attempts and I'll figure out how to do them properly.

Couldn't sleep.

Self-imposed character design process

Working on a character: a hobbit/halfling innkeeper who is also a badass. Just exploring the idea, did a dozen teeny-tiny thumbnail sketches for poses and twenty-some palm-sized sketches trying out different dress shapes and styles (did not scan everything). Some fancier/richer stuff that looked good but I wanted to do something a simpler / more home-y for her.
